- Fix braino I did when hand-applying the patch to 1.7.4.4.  The braino
  shouldn't negatively affect anything, since I didn't remove a line
  from the original patch which assigned to a variable.  However, the new
  patch added a line (after some comments) which assigned a value to the
  same variable, so the end result was I left in extra code that did
  nothing.
