MFC (hastily because of 3.4 closure): Add some shorthand timeout defines.
Add a QFROZEN_RELEASE macro. Stop a potential race condition in saopen.
Various other things like test reads at mount time to determine type
of media inserted, clearing up some missing xpt_release_ccb things, clearing
up a bit of saerror so we can see errors printed before it's swallowed
by cam_periph_error. Fix some compression code issues.
