o Depend on jdk 1.4 instead of 1.5 since there have been too many
  reports of problems. jdk 1.4 is known to work despite the urges
  from developers to use 1.5.
o Rollback files/build.xml and Makefile to version in consistent
  with dependency on jdk 1.5
