- Update to 0.5.9, which now supports bdb 4.4.

- Make good use of USE_BDB instead of tedious WITH_BDB* knobs.

- Use 'PORTDOCS=*' to avoid maintaining a list of automatically
  generated document files that are renumbered on every release.
