Fix iconv issue [*]:
 - Add USES=iconv.
 - Fix libiconv detection on FreeBSD < 10 by setting CPPFLAGS and LDFLAGS.
 - Patch Makefile.in so it doesn't use libiconv on FreeBSD 10.

- Use new syntax of LIB_DEPENDS.
- Minor style cleanups.
