- Unbreak the build on big-endian architectures
- Deuglify Makefile by removing ${WRKSRC}/Makefile.in patching and using
  provided --with-pkglibdata configure switch instead
- Arrange knobs in a more logical order and wrap one overly long line

Tested on:	flame (sparc64), eris (ia64), local Mac mini G4 (powerpc)
