Update to upstream version 1.4.9

Details:
- Update to upstream version 1.4.9
- Switch build system to cmake (mandatory upstream)
- Build shared libs, not static libs (upstream build
  system requires either-or; the number of consumers
  in the ports tree is small, this is unlikely to
  cause problems)
